![]() ![]() I feel like there’s some missed opportunity here when it comes to trancing with the gameplay like Tetris Effect, City of Beats takes the safe and boring route. The devs had the opportunity to really get wild with what power ups can do and how they relate to the music. I really wish they were more creative here as I feel the power ups don’t really make a huge difference when it comes to gameplay. ![]() ![]() The mechanics are similar to Slay the Spire in that as you progress, you collect power ups that enhance your abilities. But the few other games I've installed (Warframe, Vermintide 2, Intruder, GTA V) all worked fine.Gameplay (Controls/Mechanics/Loop/Difficulty) – The controls are great and tight, which you need to be for a twin-stick shooter, so no complaints there. I'm getting the exact same thing with Rocket League as well. I've tried restarting Steam, and my PC, I've tried reinstalling TF2, and Steam, validating game files, running windowed, compatibility mode, offline mode, autoconfig, as admin, removing the bin foldier, I've updated my drivers, Windows, and DirectX, but nothing seems to work! I'm stumped. ![]() I've looked around on various discussions, but none of their fixes have worked for me. If I try to start it again, the exact same thing happens again. I just see the game shows as "running" for a couple of seconds before going back to normal in my library. Every time I launch it, I get the First Time Setup that installs DirectX, but after that nothing happens. I just got a new strong PC that I just installed Team Fortress 2 on, but I can't get it to start. It even launches normally outside of Big Picture mode as well now. After trying about a dozen solutions, I found out that simply going into Steam Full Picture mode and launching it there fixed everything. ![]()
